This is the latest edition of Yamaha's European / Japanese market offering. We find this model to be, without a doubt, the ultimate student alto. Yamaha had set the standard with the YAS-23 and has now surpassed itself. the 280 is an upgrade of Yamaha's 275 student alto. With polished brass keys that give the horn the look of a pro model, It features a high F# and is further enhanced with a new, more stable neck receiver. Relatively light-weight and ergonomically shaped, the 280 is easy to hold and play. The intonation is perfect and it is easy to get a great sound. A 4C mouthpiece and back pack style light case are included.
